I wish I had pointed boots to wear to the Willie Nelson and Friends concert tonight. Drats! I'm sitting here wondering how I'm going to dress comfortably in 95° heat for an outdoor show. My girlfriend just emailed me that she wished she would have put extra undergarments in the freezer in preparation for tonight's show. It's a scorcher for sure. What's a girl to do?

Okay, I laughed out loud when I read the clothing-in-the-freezer suggestion. That IS a good idea! Well, I hope that you are doing alright in all that heat. I heard on the news yesterday that the Southern states have had a scorching August. Yikes. I'm not so great with the heat. Being a Canadian and used to cooler northern climates, I'd probably pass out within minutes! Well, not really...we won't wilt immediately...it would take a few hours. ;p
It's definitely the dog days of summer. My husband is Canadian but after 12 years of living in the south he has somewhat acclimated. I've been here for the better part of half my life and I stay indoors with the AC cranked.
